Middle School Formation is held on Sundays from 11:00am-12:00pm, two sessions per month, October - May.
There are four learning Sunday Masses at 6pm on the Formation calendar in September, December, March, and May. These masses are prepared by certain grades, and students are invited to be lectors, ushers, gift bearers, acolytes, and greeters.
Our curriculum is based on the Sunday Scripture readings for each week as well as focus on basic Catholic beliefs and prayers. There is also a focus on social justice issues and being a part of the church community through prayer and volunteering.
We use the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies, Visions, to help guide the twice monthly sessions. Middle School Formation also includes a retreat day during the year.
