MARRIAGE

Parishioners who are trained also meet with engaged couples to discuss issues pertaining to Christian marriage. Because of the time involved engage couples are asked to make arrangements for this program by calling Parish Director Dan Hull at least six months in advance of the wedding date.
ANOINTING & PASTORAL CARE TO THE SICK & HOMEBOUND
This ministry endeavors to respond to the needs of the sick, aging, and homebound of the parish community. Visitors to homes, hospitals and nursing homes prayerfully share the message of the Gospel. The person visited is connected to the larger household of faith. Family and friends are encouraged to take and minister communion to loved ones. Pyxes and ritual books, are available in the sacristy of the church before Mass. Parishioners help greatly to expand this ministry and help to bring comfort from the larger community to those sick and homebound. Call the Pastoral Care Coordinator for more information of these ministries. Call the Pastor for the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. Parishioners anticipating going into the hospital are asked to contact the parish so that you can be visited there. Otherwise, we have no way of knowing someone is in the hospital. A Communal Anointing of the Sick is celebrated annually at the weekend Masses.
