Pastoral Care.

Pastoral Care

“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock” (1 Peter 5:2-3)

Pastoral Care recognizes that each parishioner lives their own unique story of faith, with all its hills and valleys, challenges and graces.
St. James is dedicated to shepherding her members in numerous ways through their faith journeys.  This includes but is not limited to: hospital and home visitation, designing and leading prayer services, premarital preparation, planning funerals, adult formation and education (including Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), supporting parish committees and commissions and being available for counsel and consultation.

Any time you or a loved one in need of pastoral care please call the parish office 414-761-0480 or contact your pastoral associate.
