Human Concerns

Human Concerns is committed to care and concern of Parishioners and our local community, regional, national and international people to whom we can support through prayer, and when possible service.

Our ministries include: Sharing Sundays which supports the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry and St. Vincent de Paul Society, Habitat builds and collections, Santisimo Peru, a Giving tree during Advent and Current Events prayers for troubled times.

The traditional enumeration of the corporal works of mercy is as follows:

  • To feed the hungry;
  • To give drink to the thirsty;
  • To clothe the naked;
  • To harbour the harbourless;
  • To visit the sick;
  • To ransom the captive;
  • To bury the dead.
