Bereavement
All Soul's Service: This service takes place on All Soul's Day. We ask everyone to come and pray with the parish for those who have gone to their heavenly rest.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.
And let the perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Bereavement Team: A group of people who are passionate about walking with those who are grieving. St. James offers a Grief course every other year. If you are interested in becoming part of our Bereavement Ministry, please contact Fred Hang through the parish office.
Funeral Greeters:
Welcome guests who arrive for visitation and/or funerals here at St. James Church.
Minimal training involved, but a pleasant welcoming personality a must.
