Children's Liturgy of the Word

What is it?  Children’s Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for children to hear the Word of God at their own level during Mass. Children are dismissed with adult leaders before the First Reading to hear God’s Word from the Children’s Lectionary.  The adult leaders then share an age-appropriate reflection and pray the Apostle’s Creed and Prayers of the Faithful before returning them to their families at the Offertory.

When is it?  Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered year round during the Sunday, 10:00AM Mass. (Except Christmas and Easter Sundays)

Who is it for?  Children ages 4-9 years in age.  A parent or older sibling is always welcome if a child is reluctant to join the group.
